Ray Rice, in his own words, honest, candid, contrite, hopeful. His message will move you:
Not many people in the media know former Baltimore Raven, Ray Rice, like Jason and Jerry. Check out how he lays out what life is like for him now, how his career aspirations have changed dramatically, and what life really means to him going forward. The guys have a little fun with him amidst the serious tone of the interview in a way that only Coleman can achieve. All the essentials of every episode are there too, so don’t fret, J & J didn’t forget that there is plenty going on in Baltimore sports too.
The second half of summer heats up for Baltimore sports, so Jason & Jerry jump on the pressing topics facing the birds as the trade deadline creeps closer. Ravens players reported for training camp, and the guys to take a much closer look at them. Time to start getting an inside look.
Mr. Tony Kornheiser, left his radio days behind, and is warming up for life as a podcaster, so why not get up to speed with the guys! Tony goes in depth on the transition, and ensures the “Littles” that they’ll still get the best of his show. J & J have fun catching up with him as they recall days spent at the Post, touch on PTI’s origins, and go way back to some days spent in Baltimore.
Most of the O’s are taking a few days off for the midsummer classic, so the guys thought to give the all star guests a break too. Jason & Jerry recap the O’s first half, and revisit their preseason predictions. A little touch of Ravens news and some hilarious stories wrap it all up.
A special holiday edition of BmoreOpinionated! The O’s have been out on the west coast with Independence Day approaching, so who better to talk some O’s than the leader of the team, Buck Showalter. The manager is more candid in this interview than you’ll ever hear him during a presser, and it covers some of the hottest topics heading into the Break.
The day that someone would grace the pod with all of the greatest Coleman secrets was inevitable. Kenny Albert, the voice of BmoreOpinionated and a few other lesser known ventures, spills some dirt on Jerry. The guys also get him to share stories on his days in Baltimore as a play by play announcer, most notably with the Skipjacks. Jason wouldn’t let his trip to the beach stop him from catching this episode.
Coleman survived his trip to the Holy Land, and couldn’t wait to get bashed by the next athlete on the guest list, Cal Ripken Jr. The guys’ relationship with the Ironman spans two decades, and it’s a blast hearing them rehash some stories and talk about the future of Ripken Baseball.
What happens in Tel Aviv stays in Tel Aviv, except for the pictures Jerry keeps sharing with the world. This is the first episode featuring a guest as a host, and Jason welcomed Josh Charles for a second time around. Josh bleeds orange, purple, and black so he seemed right at home in the expanded role. He may have even brought more heat than Jason did.
BmoreOpinionated is a global operation, so Jerry took off for Israel to spread the word, and take advantage of the system, of course. That didn’t stop Adam Jones from wanting to join the guys again to have some fun. Another special guest makes his debut, and it certainly won’t be the last we hear from him.
